Awesome team. Went in for an oil change. Took about 40-45 mins. No gimmicks or outrageous prices. Will be returning to have my rear brakes replaced.

Cameron and the guys run a great operation here! I brought my old Pontiac in for some desperately needed work in order for it to pass Smog. They were completely honest and transparent about what needed to be done and did not recommend any more work than necessary. (Unlike pep boys ) Nonetheless, the check engine light disappeared and passed my smog. Odds are my Pontiac will break again and I'll be coming back!

Great customer service, no extra charges. Did as I asked! Very happy with the work, price, and turn around time.

I don't usually post Yelp reviews. But this place is worth taking the time. My Lexus needed new brakes. I took it to the My Auto Surgeon on Atlantic St. They were almost $200 less than the other places I contacted. Dropped it off on a Friday @ 3:00 they were done by 10:00 the next day. Cameron was super nice, efficient and professional. Definitely using them the next time my car needs work. I have no problem referring them to friends & family!

The Abraham Lincoln of auto mechanics. As anyone with a car will tell you, having a trusted, honest mechanic or auto repair shop is like finding the Holy Grail. My Auto Surgeon is just such a place: honesty, integrity, professional, courteous, fast and good service- when they fix it it is fixed my friends! I came in without an appointment because I had an urgent issue with one of the studs on a front wheel. The stud was stripped and had to be drilled out. The staff was courteous, kind, and very friendly: but not optimistic about how long it was going to take. Without an appointment they were going to have to fit me in sometime that day. I had just settled into one of their very comfy overstuffed chairs in front of a large TV with Netflix on it when the mechanic came into the office and said it was done. Once I got over the shock and regained my ability to speak, I think I said NO WAY! But there it was, the mechanic had that troublesome stud right there in his hand. This was the first really good piece of news that I had had all day, struggling with a tire company for hours to get new tires on, during a day of very stormy wet windy weather. I was soooo relieved and happy because now I could finish getting the last tire on. But the best part was yet to come. When I asked for the bill, the office guy said no charge. NO CHARGE?!? You coulda heard a pin drop a mile away. I had gone from angry and frustrated to happy and content in a matter of minutes. These guys are my newest best friends, and from now on they are my go to auto repair for both my late model Lexus cars- no more dealership!

Great place, great people, honest service. That's really all were looking for with a auto repair shop.

Very disappointed in Auto Surgeon. Have been with them for years and trusted their recommendations for routine maintenance and repairs (I've done my own research and what they said has always seemed legit) but they may have lost two customers today by trying to upsell us on oil changes. Wife brought our 2007 Toyota Matrix which requires standard oil change every 5k miles. She was up sold to a synthetic oil change which cost 50% more because she was told that was good for 6k miles, instead of 3k miles for the standard oil change. When I called the lady and challenged her, she just spewed a bunch of garbage about switching between conventional and synthetic oil and told me that my 2012 Honda Fit shouldn't be changed with synthetic oil every 10k miles as the manual suggests. Really? I'm supposed to ignore the maintenance manual and change oil twice as often because you say so? That's how you lose a formerly loyal customer. Edit: Justin, I appreciate your response, but there still are several things which don't sit right with me: -You're conflating conventional and synthetic oil. I would never go more than 5,000 miles with conventional oil (and of course they're risking blown engines beyond that, even if it's a new car). I would with synthetic and if the car was designed for that. My Honda Fit is, my Toyota Matrix is not. -I understand you're catering to customers who can't or won't maintain their vehicles properly. I'm not one of them and I check my fluid levels every month or two. It's wasteful and unnecessary to replace the oil with a full 5 quarts twice as often because people can't be bothered to check and top it off with a quart or two if needed, but please don't assume all of your customers can't be bothered. -Still haven't heard why she was upsold a synthetic oil change instead of what she actually needed. -We just rotated the tires a thousand miles ago so I'm guessing a second rotation so soon would have led to uneven wear on the tires, but thanks for asking. Best of luck.

Great service and super friendly. Aligned my car quickly and at a reasonable cost. A TV with cable kept my kids entertained. Good times.
