We had the good fortune of breaking down one evening with 6 kids in the car in a parking lot that just happened to be right next to My Auto Surgeon. The owner (Justin) happened to be coming by and offered assistance. Justin spent hours going above and beyond trying to get us going but the problem was more complicated than a quick fix. He towed us back to his shop on the other end of the parking lot and got us checked in for service. He told me that they were scheduled out for over a week. His guys called me the next day and confirmed their schedules were packed but they would do their best. They absolutely went above and beyond again. Their techs were able to squeeze me in and found the problem immediately. The dealer was trying to get them to buy a more expensive part but they pushed back and saved me hundred of dollars by tracking down a correct part # for just the piece I needed. They fixed the issue in record time WAY ahead of expectation and now my van is running like a champ. At every step, My Auto Surgeon communicated with me and exceeded every expectation set. I have been taking my vehicles at this shop for the past 4 years . Unlike dealership prices, this shop's rates are priced at a very reasonable price, but most of all, the customer service is great. Store manager Seth is very professional; most of all , he is there to guide you on what major services you would need, and guide you on other minor services you can monitor and replace at a later date.

Seth really helped me out. All I needed was the refrigerant evacuated out so I could work on the ac myself and other places wouldn't do it for some reason (probably because my bobbly parts are in my shirt instead of my pants) Seth did it no problem and wished me an easy time working on my daughter's car.

After 3 recommendations from co-workers I called My Auto Surgeon to repair a power steering leak on a 2008 VW Beetle we'd just purchased. We knew about the leak at purchase, but not the extent of it. I called and spoke with Dan who was polite, professional and courteous. Explained the issue at hand, made an appointment and brought the car in for them to diagnose. The next day Dan called back, explained it was not a power steering hose , but the vacuum pump causing the leak. He quoted me the price of the part, cost for labor and time and included pictures of the leak itself (wow!) I researched the info he'd given me, found it to be 100% correct, called back and agreed to the repair. Three days later he called to say the car was ready. When I picked it up, their mechanic explained the process of the repair and backed it all up again with pictures. Here is where I add that I was a GM Mechanic some years ago and I know there are a lot of parts to the Power steering system that can leak. They could have made a fortune on this repair, but they found the source of the problem and only fixed what was needed. They stuck to their quote, which I have never had happen before. They also did a complete inspection of the vehicle ( which I didn't ask for and also wasn't charged for) and they even fixed a couple of minor things with out charge as well -AND they gave me a two year parts and labor warranty for their work. These guys are tops in my book. Professional and honest, two words you don't see used often these days. Now there are four people at my work who will tell you if you want your car fixed right the first time, call My Auto Surgeon!

My family has used My Auto surgeon for several of our mechanical needs. We have always been contacted in a timely matter and treated with courtesy. My last interaction with them was GREAT. We needed brakes place on our car. I sent a message to their shop just before they were closing. I received a answer to my request as well as a call that evening even though they were closing , with a next morning appt to diagnosis the issue and get quote. I took our car into their Rocklin location at 8:30am the next morning. They were able to diagnosis the car as well as replace all four brakes on our car the same day! The cost and service was worth way more than 5 stars. We will always return here for our automotive care. Going to a locally owned service shop is way better than supporting large corporations and paying corporate prices without personal service. Thank you Justin and all the employees at your shop! Call in to get a price on getting my brakes done. What I was quoted and what was on their website were two different prices. On the website it was $199.99 for brakes and turning the rotors, but was I quoted $275 to 300. I told them that's not the price according to their website and the guy blamed corporate. Hello you are the owner, so you are corporate.
