Rocklin Auto Repair

I have been a long standing customer until now. I have 4 autos 2 of which are Jetta's. In October our 2013 Jetta needed cooling liquid, so to be safe we took it in to the auto shop. They told us it had blown a head gasket and was going to cost $2200. Which sadly we did. Fast forward to December when our 2015 Jetta had the same issue, so we also took it into My Auto Surgeon. They were very convincing that it also blew the head gasket. However, this was going to cost "a minimum of $3200" and they couldn't give us a reason why the same work on the same car was going to cost more 2 months later. So, we decided to get a second opinion. My Auto Surgeon charged is $290!!! for their diagnostic fee. I took the car to A&B German Auto in Rocklin. They stated that they have never seen a blown head gasket in a Jetta. I confirmed by calling Neillo Volkswagen. They did a diagnosis and reported back there was nothing wrong with the car! Plus they waived their $75 diagnostic fee. Benefit of the doubt My Auto Surgeon my have honestly made a bad diagnosis due to lack of knowledge on Jetta's, but I definitely shouldn't pay for it! They have lost a customer and the 5 others I take with me.

Was a little reluctant to go anywhere other then the dealership but you know how the expensive they can be. Any, these guys were great. Set up an appointment, did the work quick, & made some helpful suggestions without up selling & pressure to do 29 other things. Will return.
